Tommie Joe Graham was born on August 20, 1940 to Alice Williams and Altus Graham; he was the eldest of 8 children.
Tommie was baptized at an early age.
He began his education at Douglas Schools. Upon graduation from high school, he joined the United States Army, where he served 2 terms in Vietnam, as well as time spent in Germany, Korea, and several states across the United States of America. Upon 34 years of service, he retired as a Sergeant Major.
Tommie leaves to cherish his memories: wife - Nadine Graham; brothers - Johnny Whitfield, Donnell Edwards, Wayne Whitfield; sister - Cathy Blackshire; five sons - Kevin, David, Steven, Andre, and Gregory; five daughter-in-laws - Wanda, Betty, Debbie, Saralynn, and Trina. Tommie also leaves a host of grand-children, great grand-children, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.
Mr. Graham was preceded in death by: his parents - Alice Williams and Altus Graham; daughter - Donna Graham-Swain; two sons - Robert Minter and Billy Graham; sisters - Doris Graham-Liddel, Lois Edwards, and Jannie Jordan.
