Sheri Lynn Payton

Sheri Lynn Payton transitioned from earth to her heavenly abode, surrounded by family, on February 6, 2025. Sheri Lynn was born on May 1,1956 in Lawton, Oklahoma.

Sheri was the heart and soul of her family; she was a devoted daughter, mother, sister, niece, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  One of Sheri’s greatest joys came from nurturing her family.

Sheri is survived by her husband of 24 years, Malcolm Payton; children: Terry Moore, James McDade, Jr., Nathan McDade, Sr., Andre McDade, Sr., Keith McDade, Anthony McDade, Sr., Brandon McDade, Sr., and Datrin McDade; thirty grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren.

Sheri Lynn was proceeded in death by her father, William Moore; daughter, Catrina J Moore; and grandson, Nathaniel L McDade, Jr.
