After graduation, Rosaland started her professional work career with IBM and Tracor. Rosaland worked for thirty years with the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts in the Tax Policy and Budgeting Division until her retirement in December 2022 due to her illness.
Rosaland took great pride in her home interior and the exterior landscape.
She was a lover of technology, a true techie who loved electronics and always had the latest gadget. Rosaland love to travel and jazz music.
She loved all sports, but especially enjoyed watching football. Rosaland was a caregiver who took her grandfather into her home and cared for him until his passing and cared for her mother for over two years until her illness.
Rosaland is proceeded by grandfather Elza Jones Sr, father Elza Jones Jr and grandmother Cleroa McVade.
Rosaland leaves to cherish her memory her mother LaFaye Brown, sisters Lachonne Jones and Sharon Robertson (Nathan) and brother Isaac Jones. Nephews and nieces whom she loved dearly Ryan Davis (Jacklyn), LaJoy Henry (Nathaniel), Abrean Jones, Jeremiah Jones, Joshua Jones, Hannah Robertson, and Sarah Robertson, and a host of family and friends.
