Johnny Marshall Perryman was born on March 6, 1939, in Brackettville, Texas. Born to the union of Ms. Alice Clayton and Mr. Pompey Perryman, both of whom preceded him in death. He departed this life June 3, 2025.
He attended school in Brackettville and moved to Kerrville, Texas during his teenage years. There he met and married the love of his life, Addie Virginia Brown. on December 24, 1956. They raised three children: Natalie Perryman-Hale, Stephanie Perryman, and Terry Marshall Perryman.
He worked as a lineman at the Kerrville Telephone Company from 1963 to 1968. Later, he and his family moved to Austin Texas, where he continued working as a lineman for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company (currently AT&T) until his retirement of 23 years. Soon after, he continued working within the Telephone Department at The University of Texas at Austin.
Johnny was an avid golfer and a member of the Traveler Golf Association in Austin, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Addie, and one son, Terry; as well as five brothers and two sisters. His youngest sister, Mary Redmond, survives him.
He leaves to cherish his memory his sister Mary Redmond; daughters, Natalie (Ray) and Stephanie; two grandchildren, Natasha Hale and Jonathan Hale; and a host of nieces. nephews, relatives, and friends.
