Johnnie Mae Johnson-Williams, was born on February 5, 1960, in Gonzales, Texas to her parents - John Alfred Johnson and Gladys Mae Smith Johnson; she peacefully gained her wings on January 22, 24, resting from her courageous battle with renal failure and cancer. She was surrounded by cherished loved ones during her final moments.
She is preceded in glory by her mother and father, as well as her sisters - Charlotte Fennell and Denise Johnson.
Johnnie is lovingly remembered by her three children: Willie Freeman, Jr.; Joseph Freeman, and Tamara Johnson; seven grandchildren; and, two sisters - Doris Freeman and Alice Collins. Her sisters (Doris and Alice) continue to hold her dear in their hearts. Additionally, she leaves behind a multitude of family and friends who fondly cherish her memory.
