Deacon Johnnie H. White was born June 4, 1961 to the late Mr. & Mrs. Henry White, Sr. in Austin, Texas.
Deacon White accepted His Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, at True Light Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor J. R. Williams. He served as a Deacon and President of the Brotherhood.
Deacon White graduated from Manor High School in the class of 1981. He worked in construction and was a long-distance truck driver for 42 years. After graduation, he worked from Mr. Herb Derringer for 30 years at Big D Enterprises, after which he moved to Encore Mechanical, where he worked for 12 years.
On December 21, 1997, Deacon White married Elizabeth S. Penson-White and soon after started their family. Deacon White was a father figure to many.
Deacon White loved football season and bragged about "Them Cowboys" often. He loved spending time with his grandkids, playing dominos, fishing, and making his famous burgers and BBQ.
Deacon Johnnie White is preceded in death by: Mr. & Mrs. Henry White, Sr. (parents); Elizabeth S. Penson-White (wife); Henry White, Jr., Howard White, Ricky White (brothers).
Left to cherish his memories are: Siblings - Emma Zamora (Fabin), Alberta White Ward of Grandbury, Texas, Dorothy Crowder (Bobby) of Killeen, Texas (sisters); Children - Johnnae White, Keyshae White, Kendra White, and Jasmine Tolliver (daughters); Tyrone White, Jason White, Stevie Haywood, Jr. (sons); a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
