Johnnie Pearl Organ, daughter of the late Simon Werner Organ and Pearlie Frances Johnson was the fourth of six children. She was born on Jul 23, 1947. Her arrival to the family brought a special joy, love, and happiness. She attended Hopewell School in Round Rock, TX. In her adult years, she enjoyed participating in community activities at the Centers in Round Rock.
Johnnie loved her family. She loved to travel, work with arts and crafts, celebrate, and have fun with her family, especially reunion gatherings.
Johnnie accepted Christ as her personal Savior and was baptized at Ebenezer Baptist Church by the late Reverend Robert L. Rowe. She maintained an active membership and was a member of Mission I, Circle 2.
Johnnie P. Organ entered eternal and peaceful rest surrounded by her family and listening to Christmas music, (one of her favorite holiday seasons) on December 19, 2022.
Johnnie is preceded in death by her parents; sister – Blossie M. Organ; sister-in-love – JoAnn Traylor Organ; brother – Jeffery O. Organ; brothers-in-love – Albert C. Jones, Rev. Rodney L. Swisher; and nephew – Adrian L. Jones.
Johnnie leaves to cherish her memory: brother – Deacon Robert M. Organ (Austin, TX); sisters – Ruth T. Jones (Houston, TX) and Carrie O. Swisher (Austin, TX); nephews – Rodney J. W. Swisher, Joel D. Swisher, and Eric Banks; nieces – Joletia R. Jones, Gabrielle Coady-Bey, Jasmine F. Organ, Courtney Banks, Jessica Swisher, and Letrina Swisher; 7 great nephews; 8 great nieces; and a host of extended family and friends.
