Ernest Lee Wilson

Ernest Lee Wilson, was born July 15,1948, in Austin Texas to Helen Marie (Gilbert) Wilson and Earl Wilson. Ernest attended Blackshear Elementary, Kealing Junior High and L. C. Anderson High School. Ernest enlisted in the Marines at an early age and received several medals of honor including a Purple Heart. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Helen Wilson and Earl Wilson, son, Ernest Lee Wilson Jr and daughter, Brisha Moore.

His biggest passion was his family. Ernest is survived by his wife, Phyllis Wilson; sons, Shawn Dion Moore, Gavilan Moore, and Patrick Moore; siblings, Beverly Anderson and Earl Lofton; Brother-in-law, Don; Sister-In-laws, Lisa Moore, Cynthia Moore and Marilyn; -ten grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

On August 26, 2025 Ernest gave his life to Christ. 

Ecclesiastes 12: 13-14, Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter. Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good or bad, or whether it be evil.
