Dorothy R. White

      Beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother

     DOROTHY RENE WHITE, 83 passed away Saturday evening March 27, 2021. She was born February 21,1938 in Ballinger, Texas to the late Wilson and Ethel Andrews. Dorothy was preceded in death by her 2 sisters, Leola Floyd and Delores Snell, and is survived by her one brother, Wilson Andrews Junior and wife Jewel. She is also survived by 2 daughters - Belinda Thomas and husband Garry of Monahan's; Cindia Lee and husband Royce of Austin; and son, Gerald  and wife Trina of Midland, Texas.  Seven grandchildren: April Thomas and husband Kevin, Latoya Latson, Brandon Thomas, Stacy Lee, Christopher and Crystal Latson, and Sammuel Lee and wife Makayla. She is also survived by 3 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and a host of family and friends.  She loved  her grands and great grands (who affectionately called her Bammal!). She loved talking about them and was immensely proud of them.
 

     She was wonderfully dedicated to her family and very active even into her later years.  Dorothy loved having her coffee and spending time with the Lord, whom she affectionately called "Almighty."  She was strong, determined, and seriously independent; but she was also kind, generous, and funny.  She had a sparkling spirit and was a bright light to all around her.
