Cynthia Marie Hopes

Cynthia Marie Hopes, also known as “CiCi” and “Brown Suga” transitioned from this earthly world and into the arms of our Heavenly Father on July 28,2023.

Cynthia was born on August 7,1965 in Austin, Texas to Joyce Hopes and James Demus Hopes. Cynthia was the fourth child of five children. She received her education in Austin Texas at Crockett High School.

Cynthia was proceeded in death by her father, James (JD) Hopes, brother Robert Charles Hopes, maternal grandparents Lovie and Willie Williams, and paternal grandparents.

She worked for 31 years with the Austin Independent School District Transportation Division where she loved her co-workers and many friends. Her greatest moments were spent spending time with family, shopping for the latest converse and showing up as the life of the party.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her mother Joyce Hopes of Bastrop, Tx; two sons Daylan Adams and Leland Adams Jr of Austin, Tx; three sisters Barbra Ann Fowler, Brenda Williams and Rachel Hopes, four brothers James Hopes Anthony Hopes, Willie Hopes, and Johnny Hopes; four grandchildren Da’Lanesha Adams, Daylan Adams Jr, Julius Adams and Mica Adams; two bonus grandkids “Pretty and Bubba”,  nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends who are all saddened to say farewell so early in life, but happy to have Cynthia in our lives. We thank God for His Gift of Cynthia Marie Hopes. She will be missed and always remembered in our hearts and mind.
