Charles Clark Obituary

Charles Carnell Clark, affectionally known as "POPS", had lots of hobbies, jobs, and other things that he would like to do to pass his time.

Although by the time we became one family, standing firm and not moved by what wasn't for his family, we were already bonding and loving so effortlessly. Because to truly love and to know a man like my "POPS"...... you just don't know; HE was an ANGEL and will Forever Be!

....and I never truly knew or felt the real concept of having a family,

until I met my wife, Cynthia Renee Clark

.... one look at that woman; Oh Boy, was I smitten!  My breath was instantly taken away!  Then as we fell further in love, I truly realized I had a family that loved me unconditionally and with every fiber in their being!

..... I was blessed with my oldest stepson - Kenneth Coleman, Jr.; the second oldest stepson - Chris Coleman; the baby boy - Donta Coleman; and Mikel Durst - my oldest daughter!

"POPS" - The love of your life, loves you to the moon and back!  There was no mountain SHE wouldn't have moved for YOU!  She loves you with her soul, as I know you loved her!  Now that you've been called home to be with Our Heavenly Father, please continue to watch over my mom, in her grieving days ahead!  Because ... remember you always said she was your BIGHEAD!!

"POPS" - Your oldest daughter, will 4ever love, represent, and keep your memory alive!  Your smile, and the way that you used to pick and start little arguments with mom, just to get a reaction out of her, was one of my favs!  You always made me laugh and feel genuinely love!  I now know that I have another angel watching over us, from up above!

"POPS" - Your baby baby, and Angela Bassett (as you nick-named her); she understands, but she truly misses you!  But don't worry about her "POPS', I'm going to make sure that she reaches her full potential!  I will even secretly tell you some of her boyfriends and such!  Of course, only she gets older!  Just remember she (LaMonica) love you - her PawPaw, with her whole heart!!

"POPS" - How could we forget your fav 4-legged girl, Skylar Renee, who used to light up your world, as you did hers!  As you would come through our front door, heading to your fav spot:  which had to be the living room floor; "POPS" your wackiness made me love you more - all the while, you were demanding that she be let out to take a nap with you on the floor!  With all her tail wags and kisses, she gave, I know for sure that she loved you the same!!  She loves you still!!

"POPS" I'm not thinking clearly, because I'll remember something later that I was supposed to tell you; but you know your daughter, my memory, isn't all good!!!

Oh, that was it ...... When you see Aunt Betty, tell her, we love her, and miss her, too!!

"POPS", always remember...

Our Family loves you and we will make it!

We will stick together; cease and desist past or future drama!

Because you "Lil Mama" said:  She don't think so!!

Our "POPS" leaves to cherish his precious memories:  Cynthia Renee Clark (wife); Kenneth Coleman, Jr., (Michelle Cotton (fiancée)); Chris Coleman (Brittany Becker (wife)); Donta Coleman; Mikel Durst (Tytionna Durst (oldest granddaughter)); LaMonica Robinson (Ty'Aire Robinson (youngest grandbaby))!  To further cherish his memories will be a host of friends, additional family members, and extended family.
